Wow, I just discovered some unapproved comments lurking here! Sorry about that...

Print copies are available, via Amazon.com and merryblacksmith.com

Broken Mirrors is available in assorted e-book formats, too, at Amazon, B&N, and the Apple ibookstore.

Just wondering if you still plan to offer the last book in the Marla Mason series in other formats?

Will print copies of Broken Mirrors ever be available? Just out of curiousity, since I don't use kindle or iPad but would like to have a copy/pay for work put into it since I loved Marla Mason (*gasp* a heroine that actually has to face CONSEQUENCES for being kickass).

Thanks Josh! I think Marla probably could have used the Mason's dagger as Death's terrible sword, but she didn't attempt to use it that way, so it didn't change. (Logistically, it would have taken a giant infodump to explain basically the whole plot of Dead Reign in order to explain such a scene, and I didn't have any reason to do it, so I left it out!)

Cool, finished the book yesterday, early morning... felt I should sleep before writing a comment.

It is a bitch that Marla got kicked out of Felport, but yeah... so is she. She kinda deserved it. I never had any doubt that Rondeau would go with her. Although technically you could say that she went with him... just don't tell her I said that :p

The hate mail ending is nice. It's so Marla. Petty though... I can only imagine most of the people she's writing to will roll their eyes and throw it out. I don't much like the Chamberlain, but she's right that Marla could do some growing up. I don't imagine she ever will though :)

So... shark gods? Kinda reminds me of the Everything's Worse With Sharks trope. Throw in bear gods and... and get them to fight each other and... yeah, I'm just being facetious. Guess I'll check out the Nex.

(Btw, why didn't the Mason's knife become the Death God's sword in Marla's hands? Something to do with the alternate universe? Marla's not married to the AU Death God?)

Excellent ending, Tim, and perfectly apt. Marla's run of luck couldn't continue, and I like that she's been ejected into the larger world to find trouble and kick ass elsewhere. Great opening for Book Six as well.

Sad that Broken Mirrors had to end, but what a hell of an ending. Thanks for the ride.

That was great. I know this makes me somewhat perverse, but I highly enjoyed the way Granger died. Actually, maybe it doesn't make me perverse... I mean, I like his character, and the way he died was in keeping with that character. He died for what he believed and all that... or he thought so at least. Hmm, I just find that hilarious. Oh, guess that is perverse.

In any case, it's one thing in fiction, another in real life right? I bet Tim doesn't go around drowning kittens in real life either. (Hehe... "harmless fuzzy mammal" -- it's always a kitten! Could it be that you didn't want to use the phrase "drowning a kitten" because you're be a cat person?) I do hope someone comes to take care of the park... I guess Marla's going to need a few council replacements in the next book(s).

Finally, I also really liked "I am a highly evolved being" at the end there.
